Bursaries

As part of their continued support of the student athlete, HEO is offering bursaries for the 2016-17 season. For more information about eligibility criteria click on the specific bursary below. To apply download, complete and submit the application form below.

 

Jim Stirling $1,000.00 Educational Bursary

B.F. LORENZETTI AND ASSOCIATES INC., the insurance brokers of Hockey Canada, will be providing the Jim Stirling $1,000.00 bursary to a Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • All persons registered in the Branch and in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Dwaine Barkley $2,000.00 Educational Bursary

The Dwaine Barkley Bursary is a $2,000.00 bursary which will be awarded to a Branch member, who has played Jr. B, enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • All persons registered in the Branch and in good standing are eligible
  • Must have played Jr. B during the 2015-2016 season
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



HEO $1,000.00 Educational Bursaries

HEO will be providing a $1,000.00 educational bursary to four (4) Branch members enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • All persons registered in the Branch and in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Ottawa 67s Educational Bursary

The Ottawa 67’s will be providing a $1,000.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • All persons registered in the Branch and in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor Mitic Educational Bursary

Councilor Mitic will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of Innes Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor Monette Educational Bursary

Councilor Monette will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of Orleans Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor Qaqish Educational Bursary

Councilor Qaqish will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of Gloucester - South Nepean Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor Tierney Educational Bursary

Councilor Tierney will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of Beacon Hill - Cyrville Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor El-Chantiry Educational Bursary

Councilor El-Chantiry will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of West Carleton - March Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)



Councillor Hubley Educational Bursary

Councilor Hubley will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member enrolled in a post-secondary institution or graduating from high school in the spring of 2017.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Residents of Kanata South Ward only and registered in the Branch in good standing are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2017 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2017, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)
