Application Process

  • Download and complete the application form and forward it with the required attachments to the HEO office to the attention of Kurt Hewlett via mail or email at khewlett@hockeyeasternontario.ca
  • Applications Are Now Closed

General Eligibility Criteria

  • All persons registered in the Branch and in good standings are eligible
  • You must be graduating from high school in 2019 or be enrolled in a post-secondary institution
  • If you are graduating from high school in 2019, you must be pursuing a career requiring further education or training (e.g. university, college, trade school etc.)

2019 Available Bursaries

Dwaine Barkley $2,000.00 Educational Bursary
The Dwaine Barkley Bursary is a $2,000.00 bursary which will be awarded to a Branch member who played Jr. B in the 2018-19 season

Jim Stirling $1,000.00 Educational Bursary
B.F. LORENZETTI AND ASSOCIATES INC., the insurance brokers of Hockey Canada, will be providing the Jim Stirling $1,000.00 bursary

HEO $1,000.00 Educational Bursaries
HEO will be providing a $1,000.00 educational bursary to three (3) Branch members

Councillor Tierney Educational Bursary
Councilor Tierney will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member residing in the Beacon Hill - Cyrville Ward 11

Councillor Hubley Educational Bursary
Councilor Hubley will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member residing in the Kanata South Ward 23

Councillor Darouze Educational Bursary
Councilor Darouze will be providing a $500.00 educational bursary to one (1) Branch member residing in the Osgoode Ward 20
